The Venue

I have never dreamt about the perfect venue... I didn't have any ideas of what I wanted... but I found it anyways.  It's perfect.  Covered in twinkle lights and perfect in every way... I just love this place.

Located in Independence, OR.  It is surrounded by fields and simple beauty.  The building is historic.  Built nearly 100 years ago, this place can tell some stories.  It was used for parties... during the prohibition era... and is basically one big dance hall.  The twinkle lights give it the most gorgeous feel and will set the perfect setting for our evening.  I simply cannot wait for you to share in its beauty with us.

If you are inspired, feel free to check out their website.  I personally feel that their site does not show it's full beauty, but it is still a place to start if you are curious.  The ceremony will take place across the street from the barn in their "garden".  I have not seen its summer beauty in full bloom, but I look forward to it in person rather than in photos.

Stay tuned for information on where to stay for the night if you don't want drive home.  It is about an hour and twenty minutes from Vancouver.  I don't know how long from Eugene, but it is about 20 minutes outside of Salem.  We plan to stay right in Salem.  I would guess that's where most of you would want to stay as well.  Stay tuned for any blocks of rooms at Salem hotels.
